Holyworld Ministries believes the following statements:
- The Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. In the Word, we find the revelation of God’s eternal and unchanging will for men of all ages. The Word is the divine and final authority for the Christian life.
- There is one God, the creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is the union of God and man. He is true God and true man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of all men. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and is presently seated at the right hand of the Father as our high priest and advocate.
- Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin, which resulted in his spiritual death and separation from God. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. This process of regeneration, referred to as being “born again” in the Word, takes place through a combination of faith and confession. As a person makes the decision to believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and confesses with his mouth the lordship of Jesus in his life, a miracle of regeneration by the Holy Spirit takes place. A new Christian is born into the kingdom of God. For him, old things are passed away and all things are new!
- Water baptism and communion are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. They are not, however, to be confused with or regarded as a means of salvation. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation.
- The present day ministry of the Holy Spirit is to comfort and guide the believer, with the final purpose of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth. During this age, He indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service. Every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence.
- Every born again, spirit-filled believer should maintain a consistent prayer life by praying regularly with their understanding and in their heavenly language.
- “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” (Hebrews 11:6) The Word tells us that the “just [those who have been justified by the blood of Jesus] shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17) The redemptive work of Jesus not only provided salvation for the believer, but also healing and prosperity for our spiritual, soulish, and physical man. We are redeemed from the curse of the law – poverty, sickness, oppression, and any other thing that prevents us from fulfilling His plan. Our lives can be prosperous and healthy in every realm as we walk in the light of this redemption by faith in God’s Word.
- The universal church is composed of all those who are born again. Through the new birth, we are united together in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and head of the church, and has provided leadership for the local church through the ministry gifts, which only He can give. Every local church has the right, under Christ, to decide and govern its own affairs.
- The premillenial second coming of Jesus Christ is two-part in nature; He will come in the air to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints; He will then come to the earth to establish His physical kingdom, and begin His thousand-year reign.
- There will be a bodily resurrection of the dead — the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord and the unbeliever to judgment and eternal punishment.
Concerning Eschatology
When one interprets the Scriptures, he should always take a literal, plain sense approach. That is not to say that there is not figurative or symbolic language in the Bible that must be taken as such. Of course there is. But behind each symbol or figurative language used, there is a literal application.
Although we will not fully understand all of God’s great truths this side of Heaven, we must remember that the Bible is God’s communication to man. Why then would He make it so mysterious that men could not understand it? Those that systematically “spiritualize” away the plain sense meaning of God’s Word will obviously miss God’s clear communication of His truths. If the plain sense makes sense, then look for no other sense lest you end up with nonsense!
Remember! The Bible is not so hard to understand. It is hard to believe. But once you believe it, you can most certainly understand it!
Therefore, with that literal approach to Bible interpretation, we believe in what is generally called the “Pre-Millennial, Pre-trib. Rapture” position.
Although no one knows the day or the hour that it will happen, Jesus will soon come for His Church, after which the world will be plunged into 7 years of tribulation. (John 14:3, I Thess. 4:15-17, Matt. 24:21, Dan. 9:27).
At the end of that terrible time of tribulation, the Lord will come to this earth in great power and glory to destroy the enemies of God (This is the Second Coming.) and establish His literal earthly kingdom for one thousand years, during which time Satan will be locked away. But at the end of the thousand years, Satan will be loosed for a short season to go into the world once again and deceive the nations. He will lead a great multitude to rebell once again against King Jesus, but God will destroy that rebellion and cast Satan into the lake of fire. Then, God will make a new Heaven and a new earth with a new Jerusalem. The new Jerusalem will be the eternal home of all those that have by faith acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life. (Rev. 19-22)
Hollywood, Jesus Said “I’ll Be Back”
In the last days, the Bible says that there will be people who scoff at the gospel. They will mock at Christians for how they live and what they believe. Most of Hollywood doesn’t believe the gospel message and most of Hollywood makes fun of those who do through their tv programs and movies. Hollywood doesn’t understand that its attitude toward the gospel and the end time fulfillment of Bible prophecy is prophesied.
First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and with water. By water also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2 Peter 3:1-7
In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
Jude 1:18,19
The world doesn’t realize that the sin and corruption of our generation has been prophesied throughout the Bible. Just the fact that an extremely powerful institution like Hollywood rises up in our generation to promote sin and mock at those who try to live a holy life before God is another proof that JESUS IS TRULY COMING SOON!!!
God’s Creation
Prophecy fulfillment isn’t the only way God proves his existence. God shows people the beauty of His creation to prove He exists. This way people are without excuse if they choose to reject God and His ways (Romans 1:18-20). Do you think all of this is by chance? Some big cosmic bang billions of years ago made all of this apart from God. Believing in that takes more faith than believing in God. Just something for you to think about as you look at these pictures and the beauty of creation.
