Holyworld Ministries is a Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry of faith. The ministry was founded by Evangelist L.G. Moeller. He lives in Minneapolis, MN. He is a graduate at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. He is a very dynamic speaker who started the ministry over 20 years ago, and he has the gift for making complex Biblical issues very understandable. He believes in the Pre-Tribulation, Premillenial, viewpoints of eschatology (the viewpoint presented in the popular “Left-Behind” series co-authored by Tim LaHaye).
The ministry began in summer of 1990 when God started moving in his life in a new way. God showed him the importance of Bible prophecy and the impact it could make on this world. With the Bible being over 25% prophecy, it is God’s way of confirming the Bible is His word. Matthew 24:32-34 states that all of the end time signs will occur within one generation of people. The reason for this is to make it obvious, similar to Noah’s Ark. Noah’s Ark was a sign to that generation that when people saw the Ark being completed, they knew what Noah was saying. He was telling them that the end of the world was near. In the same way, the signs tell one generation of people that Jesus’ return and the end of the world is near. L.G. Moeller noticed that when he researched the signs of the Lord’s return in 1990, the Bible prophecy books he was reading used very limited articles and sources, sometimes Christian, to prove that Jesus was coming soon. He wasn’t convinced by the books he read, but saw very real signs that are suppose to occur within one generation of people. So he started a research project that accumulated thousands of articles that relate to Bible prophecy to see if we were that chosen generation. After that research project, he was convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that we were that generation. Since then, he has done presentations to various groups and he is in the process of writing the most thorough book ever written on the topic called “He’s Still Got The Whole World In His Hands” with about 1,000 articles included in it proving that WE ARE THE GENERATION THAT SHALL SEE CHRIST’S RETURN!!!
Our mission is to win the lost to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and to inspire and motivate the Church through the preaching of the soon return of Jesus. Basically, our message to the lost is that we are living in the end of the age. Jesus will soon come for His bride, the Church, and all people who are not saved will be left behind to face a time of tribulation unlike anything this world has ever witnessed (Matt. 24:21). So, in order to avoid the Tribulation and more importantly, to avoid an eternity in Hell, “You must be born again!” (John 3:3)
Our message to the Church is, “Whatever you’re going to do for Jesus, get on with it!” Time in which we can reach people for Jesus is running out! We cannot afford to waste one minute! “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” (Rom. 13:12) We emphasize this message through our preaching about the signs of our times that stand in fulfillment of God’s Prophetic Word and tell us that His coming is near.
No one knows the exact day and hour of our Lord’s return (Matt. 24:36). However, He gave us many signs to be looking for so that we might recognize the “season” of His coming. Then, He said, “…when ye shall see all these things, KNOW that it is near, even at the door.” (Matt. 24:33b) God’s people should be able to KNOW that we are in the season of His coming! (I Thess. 5:4)
The fulfillment of Bible prophecy is one of the best evangelistic tools available to the Church today! It serves to convince the skeptic that the Bible truly is the supernatural Word of God. Therefore, the lost man begins to recognize a need to be in right relationship with Jesus Christ (saved) as he is convinced of the soon return of Jesus for His people. Likewise, the Christian is motivated to faithfulness in Christian service as he too begins to believe in the immediacy of the Lord’s coming.
